Final Push Towards ASUN Tournament

As the season winds down, the UWG Women’s Basketball Team has a competitive record of 17–10 thus far. There are only two regular season games remaining and players are working harder than ever now.

Throughout the season, several players have made a crucial impact to this team. Asia Donald has scored nearly 400 points; her scoring consistency has been key this season. Destiny Jones has secured over 200 rebounds. Grace O’Gara has impacted the team with nearly 100 assists.

The Wolves will travel to play Queens on February 24th and North Alabama on February 27th. These games will set the tone for the championship. Immediately following both of those games, the team will play in the ASUN Conference Tournament in Jacksonville, FL from March 3rd through March 9th.

As the season comes to a close, fans should applaud the Wolves for their dedication throughout the season. The team shows tremendous growth by persevering through wins and losses. Let’s support the team as they head into the last games of the season and onto the tournament in Jacksonville.
